Hi everyone. 

So on the 5th of December I had a meeting with my oncologist to discuss the mutational analysis of my Lymphoepithelial Carcinoma of the Lung, to find out that my tumour tested positive for the ROS1 mutation (a very rare mutation occurring in about 1 - 2% of mutations). 
As we know, my cancer is also very rare (0.92% occurrence). 
 
This campaign is to help me fund my cancer treatments and medical bills - since November 2023 the costs and bills have been climbing rapidly after 28 days in hospital and various tests and treatments.
 
I am currently on chemo and looking to start ROS1 targeted treatment in the New Year, which is very pricey but very effective, but unfortunately I will only be afforded partial funding on specialised treatments like this. 
 
As mentioned previously, my tumour is 7 x 4cm currently and constricting airflow to my right lung, and subsequently my upper lobe has collapsed. 
 
There is so much going on and I have a long road ahead of me, and my medical aid is killing me with shortfalls and exclusions. 
 
I know I already had a campaign running to help me with my medical bills and I am so grateful for the response it received, but this is the next step for me and man am I sorry to have to ask and shove these BackaBuddy links in everyone's faces at this point but guys, we know the statistics of lung cancer. I am not gonna beat around the bush. I want to live, I wanna beat this thing, and for that I am unapologetically desperate. 
 
Fundraising will be ongoing exclusively to my treatments and ongoing medical bills.
 
And thank you to EVERYONE who has helped me thus far, via donations, emotional support, prayers, healing vibes, chocolates and love 💜 you people have made me feel so loved, it's almost hard to believe.

Chanes Rozlytrek Cancer Treatment Campaign

Facing a rare ROS1 mutation in my Lymphoepithelial Carcinoma of the Lung, I'm no longer eligible for immunotherapy.

Targeted treatment with Rozlytrek is my best option, boasting a 70+% success rate compared to chemo's 30%. Seeking funds for at least two cycles at R70,000 each, I'm unapologetically desperate to beat this rare cancer.
