Hi Everyone 👋 I'm Tanya. 

I am a mom of 2 already earth side kiddies, Malakai 9 yo and Kaiya 4yo. I work for a shark cage diving company and have for many years now .my partner Gareth is a motor mechanic and works too full time. He also works after hours and on weekends privately to bring in extra money for our family. 

We found out about 5 months ago we were expecting,  it was unexpected to say the least and Also unplanned . But a blessing ofcourse 😌  once we had our scan etc we were so shocked for a long time that we were expecting twins. Twins do run in my family but I never thought I would be the lucky one to have twins. 
 
Now prior to finding out we were expecting my medical aid unfortunately got canceled due to us going through an extremely tough winter at work as well as us losing an engine on our shark boat , everything added up and we were unable to get back on our feet until late September.  By then obviously I found out I was pregnant, and it was too late to reinstate my medical and the pregnancy would not be covered. 
 
So now i sit with no medical to cover the  birth ( c section ) 
 
I have since started a new medical aid which the baby will be covered on which is great .I am happy he will get the proper care needed under the medical. 
 
 
Now for some very heartbreaking and sad news ....on the 11th of January I became very sick with a tummy bug and got admitted to hospital. I was on a drip and had antibiotics over night. Checked out and I did start recovering. According to hospital babies were fine. Fast forward to 18th January I went for My check up scan and we got told baby A ( Madison ) had passed . She had no fluid in her sack and her heart had stopped.  No reason why , she was the bigger twin always looked healthy,  I was healthy had no issues either. So unfortunately we got no exact cause. 
 
Anyways after this tragic event I have tried to put aside my heartbreak so I can focus on Mason and be the strong mom I need to for my kids and baby. 
I have been suffering with low blood/ high pressure ever since. 
 
I feel I really need the private care the mediclinic offers for the safety of myself and baby. 
I am already a mom of 2 amazing kids I need to be here for them . 
 
UPDATE : Thank the Lord I did go to the mediclinic after all as Mason is now a week old , born 18th February 2024. He has been in the NICU ever since with alittle bit of jaundice and level 1 bleed on the brain . Other than that he was pretty healthy. He's such a strong boy. 
Fast forward to today 27th February he had to get transfered to Christian barnard hospital due to a bad stomach virus.  It's serious he gets it treated asap before any damage gets caused. Now this is very far from hermanus unfortunately and I will have to travel back and forth . This will be a massive financial strain on us . But we will gladly do it for Mason.  
 
We would be forever grateful for any donations toward fuel etc we will have extra medical bills I'm sure after this. 
 
I understand everyone has their own life and things they need to pay etc so please if you can't assist us in any way do not feel any guilt . We will manage one way or another . 
But If you can assist then id greatly appreciate it 😌 🙂 
 
Any donation is a blessing to us and will help towards the end goal. 
 
The funds will be used for medical costs, doctors fees ,blood tests , fuel etc
