As a mother of a beautiful non-verbal autistic daughter, every day is a journey filled with both challenges and joys. She's about to turn six on the 10th of February, and watching her navigate the world around her fills my heart with both pride and concern.

Recently, she embarked on her schooling journey, a significant milestone for any child. However, as a single, unemployed mother, the financial burden of school fees, along with the numerous pediatrician visits essential for her well-being, has become overwhelming.

We're currently based in Durban, having recently moved from Ulundi to ensure she has access to the specialized care and education she deserves. Yet, the expenses continue to mount, leaving me feeling utterly helpless.

One of my greatest wishes is to provide her with the additional support she needs. This includes access to a speech therapist who can work with her at home, helping her to communicate and express herself in ways that go beyond words.

The cost of her condition extends beyond therapy sessions. From specialized equipment to tailored learning materials, the financial strain is immense, and I find myself unable to provide everything she requires.
