Personal message
Hello, friends, family & colleagues
Kunal & I are doing our bit for charity by taking part in the Discovery 702 Walk the Talk on the 25th of July 2010. As you all probably know we got married last year and we feel incredibly blessed and thought that this could be our little way of giving back…or as they say, paying it forward.
We are encouraging our family, friends and colleague to join us and/or sponsor us in our aim to raise R 2,000.00 in aid of MaAfrika Tikkun.
MaAfrika Tikkun does incredible work in the townships of South Africa. The organisation exists to uplift communities by focusing on orphans and vulnerable children who are infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. For more info on MaAfrika Tikkun, please visit www.maafrikatikkun.org.za.
The money we raise will be donated towards MaAfrika Tikkun’s feeding kitchens which thousands of kids in Orange Farm, Alex, Diepsloot, Hilbrow, Mfuleni and Delft, rely on every day.
Please note that we are not only asking friends, family and colleagues to join and/or sponsor us but we will be donating too. We will be sponsoring our friends and family that we have roped into Walking the Talk with us J
Sponsoring us and donating to MaAfrika Tikkun is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details will never be sold and we will never send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, your contribution is sent directly to MaAfrika Tikkun so it’s the most efficient way to donate and sponsor us.
Our aim is to raise R 2,000.00 by getting 20 of our friends and family members to sponsor us R100 each.
Please get involved, dig deep and donate now by visiting our fundraising website http://www.backabuddy.co.za/beasport/project/shantal-kunal
Lots of love, appreciation and a big helping of optimism
Kunal & Shantal Hariprasad

Afrika Tikkun

Afrika Tikkun (AT) was founded in 1994 with the goal of developing and uplifting young people in disadvantaged communities resident in the Republic of South Africa. With like-minded partners, Afrika Tikkun aims to end child poverty and youth unemployment through a holistic approach that begins in early childhood and ends with productive adults accessing the economy. Our approach provides all-inclusive care (nutrition, health and social) services and helps SA’s youth achieve success with a model called Cradle-to-Career 360°, which has earned Afrika Tikkun recognition for being one of the most impactful organisations in South Africa. We operate from four centres in Gauteng and one in Cape Town.
