In 2013 we completed our second tour to Cape Town on the tandem with the Sun City to Table Bay Charity Cycle Tour and what an awesome experience it was. Now we are taking up the challenge to do it again in 2016!
The Sun City Charity Cycle Club has hosted the annual Sun City (North West Province) to Cape Town (Western Cape Province) cycling tour since 2002 covering a distance of 1749km 8 days (approx. 235km per day for 8 consecutive days).
The goal of the cycling tour is to accumulate donations or sponsorships going towards charitable organisations which include the various CSI projects for Sun City, Flamingo Casino, Golden Valley Casino, and the Table Bay Hotel respectively including amongst others, Nazareth House, The Aids Orphans Housing Project and Grace Centre for abused woman and children.
But we need all the help we can get...
Each Rider has to raise a minimum of R15,000.00 to participate in this event, so do the sums, two of us, R30 000 for the tandem.
Please help us to reach our goal and make a meaningful contribution to the charities that benefit from this event by sponsoring us.
Doesn't matter how big or small the contribution, every little bit will count!

A Cycling Club based in the North West Province at the Sun City Resort in South Africa.
Our main objective is for the development of cycling in our area whilst using the sport of cycling in raising funds for mainly destitute children through a very challenging Endurance Cycle Tour.
Our Tours are hugely succesful and during the last 15 years the NPO donated more than R9 million and 300 Qhubeka bicycles to mainly destitute children and impoveraged indivuduals.
