Jane Levinson, Project Manager of Mdzananda will be presenting a
paper at The Pan African Animal Welfare Alliance (PAAWA) Conference 2013 -
Nairobi Kenya, 2-4 Sept 2013. She has been asked to do a presentation on ‘how to run a successful veterinary clinic in
communities- case study of the Khayelitsha project in South Africa.’
The objective of this conference is to share, link, advance and
promote environmental and wildlife conservation and animal welfare.
It will be a wonderful opportunity for gaining knowledge and lots
of sharing among like-minded people. Please help us to raise R11 800 to
cover the airfare and accommodation for this conference.

Mdzananda Animal Clinic

Since 1996 the Mdzananda Animal Clinic has been serving the Khayelitsha community pets and pet owners. The organisation treats up to 700 pets per month through consultations, hospitilisaiton, surgery (general, orthopaedic and sterilisation), mobile clinics, an animal ambulance and humane education.
Our aim is to help create a community that cares for every animal through veterinary care, education and partnerships.
