My wife and I, being the Godparents of Casey Uys, are super proud of him and want to to grow from strength to strength but unfortunately the family doesnt have all the funds required to make this possible. 
 
In February 2023 Casey was selected for the Under 10 Cape Town Baseball Federation (CTBF) to represent Western Cape at the Annual National Baseball championship (NBC) in Gauteng on 01 April 2023. This trip was made possible by the backabuddy fund which was created at the time - thanks for all the support and backing to allow Casey the opportunity- it was a huge success and great experience for this talented young boy.
 
This year Casey has been selected for the Under 12 Western Cape team that will be traveling to PE in March 2024 for annual National baseball championship.
 
Casey has really worked hard and put in the effort, maintaining the balance between his academic work as well as his baseball career, and is excelling at both of these!
 
The parents of this young, talented sportsman are asking for everyone to please open their hearts and if not able to actually donate towards the cause, to simply even share it on your social media - Any donation, big or small will mean the world to the family and will make a huge difference for this clearly very talented young man who is definitely going places without losing any momentum from year to year!
 
The tournament cost is R7200.
 
If the parents are able to raise R7200, it would go a long way to have this youngster continue reaching his goals and progressing and improving even more with each game he plays!
