I've always wanted to cycle or do some crazy physical endurance race for a cause that I believed in, but up until now the right opportunity had not presented itself.

I first came to know the cause of Marang House in 2007 and was blown away by the story behind it. Founded more than 10 years ago by Dr Pieter Ernst, who emigrated from the Netherlands with his family, this home provides a safe, caring, happy environment for seriously ill children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Despite the heartache that prevailed in 2005, Marang House is still making significant impacts on the lives of seriously ill children - Thanks to Dr Pieter Ernst's eldest son and the dedicated team of healthcare workers and other caring community volunteers.

On the 21st of November, I will be cycling the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge.

I have never done something like this before but I would like to ask you to become part of this cause and provide support, no matter how small, to reach a target of R 15,000 for Marang House.
