Please help me raise funds for a fantastic organisation: Barking Mad/Dogtown. They help rescue, rehabilitate and re-home South Africa's abused and abandoned animals.

We will be doing a hike from the 25 - 29 September 2012 - The Otter Trail (details below) and decided it a good opportunity to raise funds for this organisation. PLEASE SUPPORT!

The  Otter Trail is located in the magnificent Garden Route in the Eastern Cape and is justifiably considered to be the top hiking trail in South Africa.

The Otter Trail traverses this rugged, rocky shoreline ranging in elevation from sea level to a height of more than 200m. Most of the trail follows cliff tops returning to sea level, crossing 11 rivers en route. The start of the trail is at the Storms River mouth and ends at Natures Valley in the Tsitsikamma National Park, after a tough but exhilarating 42,5 km hike.

Nestled in the mountains in Hennops is the most remarkable sanctuary, for dogs who have lost their families or have been rescued from dire situations.
