Race the Comrades Legends for Rainbows

We are a team of runners that run together for fitness, enjoyment, and unity.  We have mostly been eating pies and chilling during the lockdown.  Those of us that have not been relaxing have certainly not been running at our “normal” ridiculous endurance level. 

We are uniting and taking up the challenge to run for little legends fighting childhood cancer.  These vulnerable children need us now more than ever.  The team at Rainbows and Smiles have tirelessly been assisting the hospitals with the COVID-19 looming pandemic.  If our COVID-19 pediatric wards are ready – our exposed children will be protected. 

We are fully aware that these are difficult times.  But YOUR CHANGE can make a CHANGE.  Please consider donating R1 per kilometer to your favorite “running buddy”.

None of us have trained for this challenge but children do not get the train for cancer, and our susceptible certainly have no control over this horrific virus.

Disclaimer:  Running buddies will adhere to the government regulations of exercising between 6am and 6pm, we will not be running as a group but will be united in our efforts.  Proper social distancing and hand sanitation regulations will apply, and each runner will be provided with a branded mask.
