GIBS students and the alumni have over the years engaged in community development projects to uplift the communities around them. In a bid to consolidate their efforts and raise greater awareness for social causes they support, Team GIBS was founded.
This year over 30 GIBS students, alumni and friends are riding the Momentum 947 Cycle Challenge to establish a scholarship fund, an initiative we are committed to help build over the next 3 years.
The scholarship fund will assist orphaned and vulnerable learners at Olivienhoutbosch school to access tertiary education. Below is a story about Kgomotso Mathokgoane, a matriculant from the school. Kgomotso will be riding the Cycle Challenge with us.
