Personal message

So here I am, recently rekindled with an old flame. Ours didn't start out flaming, it was a rather love-hate kind of fling that grew over a period of time. But once it picked up, it was an undeniable, passionate love that became a source of energy, a safe haven and life-preserving. I’m in love with running!

I don't have a moving story or a close encounter with cancer. I am however a person with sufficient awareness paired with a strong drive to be that ray of sunshine in the world. I care about what concerns others and endeavour to live lasting footprints wherever I can. Together with other runners, I have partnered with Rainbows and Smiles to bring a smile to a little face. What better way to achieve that through doing what I love?

Please help me make a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer by sponsoring towards my run.

The mission of Rainbows and Smiles is to provide emotional, social and financial support to families and caregivers in need when a child or children of that family is diagnosed with a life threatening illness such as cancer. In addition, Rainbows and Smiles encourage childhood cancer awareness to educate in the hope of promoting early detection.
