CARE (Cancer Awareness, Research and Education) for Kids with Cancer
Not many people know that kids get cancer too and that most childhood cancers are very, very curable. If you live in America and your child gets cancer, they have an 80% chance of surviving. In South Africa, it’s about 50/50. Kids are dying because cancers in children are often not caught early enough, and when they finally reach a specialist centre for treatment, it’s often too late.
CARE (Cancer Awareness Research and Education) is the only organisation that is dedicated exclusively to supporting research for kids with cancer. We raise awareness and we conduct studies to find out how to reach more children and save more lives.
