Personal message
Our Indigent Kidney Patients would love to receive a lovely Christmas hamper at the end of this year in the form of a food hamper. Since we all look forward to enjoying our Christmas dinner/lunch, they, too, would love to celebrate with their families.
These patients are on Dialysis three times per week for four hours. It would be wonderful if we could treat them to a food hamper/ gift voucher.
The Covid-19 Pandemic Lockdown hard hit Cape Kidney Association; although it is over, funds are not readily available.

The Cape Kidney Association was founded in 1978 by a group of Nephrology Doctors and Nurses who saw the need to assist the Indigent kidney patients. Patients travel from afar as there are no dialysis units close by. We serve majority patients in the Renal Unit at Groote Schuur and Tygerberg Hospitals. Most of the patients are unemployed and some of them receive disability grants.
