My dental journey started a couple of years ago when I developed an abscess.  After some x-rays I was told that a good portion of the front of my face was disintegrating.  This was a result of an bicycle accident in my teens.   Unfortunately medical aid does not see restructuring the face as a necessity and fees need to be paid directly by myself as they feel this is cosmetic.   I am thankfully close to the last steps of having teeth again and so grateful for the generous help I have received, but just don't have the funds for the last steps.  Any monies raised over an above the costs will be donated to the Smile Foundation.
