A huge thanks to family and friends who have already contributed to this campaign! The Weakley family would like to appeal to more donations as the medical costs are mounting on a daily basis and they can't keep up! Any amount, no matter how big or small makes a difference.
In December 2023, Burt and Judy were dealt a double blow - both diagnosed with cancer. Judith was diagnosed with terminal Pancreatic Cancer, while Burt is facing Prostate Cancer. These diagnoses brought not only emotional turmoil but also a staggering financial burden for the family.
The Weakley couple, like many others, have no retirement funds and no medical insurance to rely on. This has placed an immense strain on their children, who are already grappling with their own financial challenges. Instead of focusing solely on providing the emotional and moral support that their parents need during this trying time, they are burdened with the worry of mounting medical expenses.
This leaves us with no choice but to turn to their family and friends to offer a lifeline during these difficult times.
Together, we can ensure that the Weakley family can focus on what truly matters - supporting Judy and Burt through their battles with cancer, offering love, and cherishing the time they have together.
