I plan to run the UTCT 100kilometre event on 10th December! This is way way out of my range, having never run more than a marathon before. I know that this is going to hurt like nothing before it. Over 4000 metres of climbing. For 2 reasons... 

One, to prove it takes a strong mind, not just physical training!

Two, for the dogs, the poor creatures that don't have a voice to protect themselves. They need love, no dog deserves the harsh lives humans give them. This might not help them all, but might help one or 2. And that's awesome.
