Personal message

A child that has been living in an orphange or state care faciity is forced to leave at age 18. Many of these youth are not ready for this transition and end up back on the streets or turn to crime.

This year I have decided to do my bit for South African youth and take on the challenge of riding in the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle challenge in aid of an organisation called Mamelani Projects that assists youth transition successfully out of state care.

It costs R25 000 to put one child through a Mamelani course for a year, together the Mamelani Movers Argus team would like to secure enough funds to allow 5 youth to be a part of this process. So come on an back me on my ride! Together we can make a difference.
