Brodic has decided to take on the challenge to cycle the 947 Ride Joburg to raise funds and awareness for Rainbows and Smiles.  Brodic has committed 100 percent to the road and mountain bike event.  (crazy much). 

“Even if the event is cancelled, I commit to cycling the FULL distance for BOTH events to honour children with cancer.  I will do the millage regardless to support the bravery of these children.  

I have followed the incredible work that Rainbows and Smiles does and my heart goes out to each and every tiny human fighting cancer, thank you for supporting my challenge.  Rainbows and Smiles is a childhood cancer foundation close to my heart.”   

Every year in South Africa, almost 1000 children are diagnosed with cancer.  Our socio-economic challenges, and generally poor level of awareness of early warning signs of childhood cancer, means that a large number of these children are diagnosed very late into their illness.  

As a result, they face a difficult battle. Team Rainbows Riders is on a mission to raise awareness and funds for children fighting cancer.

Rainbows and Smiles is a community-based, charitable foundation dedicated to providing emotional, social, and financial support to children diagnosed with cancer or a life-threatening illness, and their families and caregivers.

 Rainbows and Smiles are not funded by the government, and we rely on the generosity of our supporters and the passion of our volunteers to enable us to do the work we do.
