This is a team built by the Bridges Academy in Langa, with support from Nandos.

 

The Bridges Academy is an incredible creative school teaching 21st century schools, music, mindfulness and creativity. The team is formed by alumni of the school (and some teachers) who are bravely jumping on the bike for the first time to take on the Cape Town Cycle Tour.

Their goal, with your sponsorship, is to keep the lights of the school on and continue to grow the number of students on the next intake. Please consider supporting by donating and be part of this incredible and revolutionary educational model.

This first of a kind development team is made up of co-creators in the current Academy class, graduates from the 1st Academy class, Academy Staff and community leaders, mentors and influencers.

The team fosters a fantastic and inspiring energy and is a true sign of the changing times and real impact that the Bridges Academy, now open and running its second intake group, is having on the surrounding community.

We urge you to support our team of riders in reaching their fundraising target and forfilling their goal of directly benifitting the community around them! All funds will be donated towards the operations of the Bridges Academy and ensuring the Academy can sustain and develop the curriculum for current and future intakes.

iThuba Innovation Hub inspires and teaches elementary school students in Langa Township how to use new technologies and STEM subjects to solve problems in their community as well as around the world.
