I hope this message finds you well. My name is Brian Mvukwe, and I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for assistance in realizing my academic dreams.

Since 2019, I have been pursuing a degree in Computer Science at the University of Stellenbosch. Recently, I embarked on the challenging journey of pursuing a BSc Honors in Computer Science on a part-time basis while working to support myself financially. However, unforeseen circumstances have arisen, threatening to derail my aspirations.

Despite my best efforts, the past year has been tumultuous. Balancing full-time work, part-time studies, and the demands of commuting proved to be overwhelming, resulting in the failure of two modules and necessitating an extension for my year project. Now, as I approach what should be the final year of my degree program in 2024, I find myself facing significant financial challenges due to the loss of my job because of visa complications.

These financial burdens not only hinder my ability to register for classes but also jeopardize my visa status, potentially leading to deportation to Zimbabwe. Despite seeking assistance through various channels and exploring alternative avenues, I have not been able to secure the support needed to overcome these challenges.

Furthermore, the strain of my financial situation extends beyond my academic pursuits, impacting my family's well-being. With the loss of my income, my father shoulders the burden of rent payments, placing added strain on our household.

I am reaching out to you, my community, in the hopes that together we can overcome these obstacles. Your support, whether it be financial assistance with registration fees or any other form of aid, would be invaluable in ensuring the realization of my academic aspirations.

This year marks the culmination of my academic journey at Stellenbosch, an institution where I have thrived both academically and personally. The thought of prematurely ending my time here due to financial constraints is disheartening, considering the positive impact it has had on my growth and development.

I assure you of my unwavering commitment and determination to overcome the challenges I face. With your support, I am confident that I can continue and complete my BSc Honors in Computer Science by the end of 2024, paving the way for a brighter future.
