Personal message
While I’m in Cape Town, South Africa, it's only right to support the Kolisi Foundation through their Donate Your Birthday initiative! I have spent the first semester in my Master’s Degree program in Community Organization and Social Activism right here in Cape Town.
We watched the Rugby World Cup out with friends and when the Springbok’s WON - the PEOPLE were in the STREETS waving flags, we were dancing and singing. The energy of the city was infectious!
I also went to the World Cup Parade and saw the team very close up on the buses! Seeing Siya Kolisi in real life was such an inspiration!
I recently watched the Netflix show Live to Lead and the episode on Siya Kolisi left me beyond moved. He is easily a new role model of mine.
My birthday is on February 11th and I'll be 35 years old. I am RIGHT where I need to be. I can feel it in every thread of my body! I want to continue to leave a legacy of love, hard work, and service. In that, I will Donate my Birthday to support the mission of the Kolisi family 💜!

Kolisi Foundation

The Kolisi Foundation was founded by Siya and Rachel Kolisi with a vision to change narratives of inequality in South Africa. By working alongside others, adding our story to the stories of communities and individuals who are changing the world. By “remembering the one, one by one” we will impact the nation.
What we do?
The Kolisi Foundation seeks to support people living in under-resourced communities in South Africa, by providing relief resources, facilitating capacity-building and horizontal learning exchanges, and mobilizing and advocating for systemic change.
The Kolisi Foundation's mission is shaped around the following three programmatic areas: Food Security, Gender-Based Violence, and Education and Sports Development.
