On January 7th, our whole family was in a car accident in Eloff, Mpumalanga. My 6-year-old daughter had to be airlifted to Charlotte Maxeke Hospital in JHB due to a badly injured hand, which required three major surgeries resulting in her hand being positioned on her stomach (flap surgery).

Myself and my 9-month-old baby spent a week in the hospital and underwent two surgeries to clean our wounds. We are now managing wound care at home.

My other son, 11 years old, had stitches on his head and a black eye but has fully recovered.

Currently, my 6-year-old daughter remains in the hospital, awaiting another surgery to reposition her arm and addressing emerging neck pain. We are urgently in need of funds to visit her daily and provide food. After addressing her hand issues, she will require further medical consultations and physiotherapy for her neck.
