I Ashley Mitchell here by thank you for taking the time to read this message.
I am the proud son of Beula Mitchell. My Mom is 63 years of age and is a widow. My Dad who was the bread winner passed away in 2021 and unfortunately had no policy or pension fund.
It is not easy to write this letter and to ask for help, sometimes your back is just against the wall and you feel their is no escape or answer but we always have pride and hope and that is what keeps us going.
My parents moved to Bettys Bay in 2019 where they started building a Nutec home.
In completing the first phase all looked well and started on the second phase when a strong north west wind came howling and took halve of the structure to the ground and caused a lot of damage . The part they stay in has no ceiling and is easy for the wind to come inside of the house, which makes it very cold in the winter and living conditions is very bad.
So the solution is easy just rebuild the structure, but that was not the case as the builder and the contract team who were paid in full decided not to return to the sight and then with the passing of my Father in 2021 their was just no more funds to rebuild and to replace the damaged materials.
So now i am asking for help or funds to finish the Nutec house as most of the building material is on site.
