Two months ago, Belinda fell ill and received a diagnosis of a very rare disease called Mirezzi syndrome. The frequent hospital visits have taken a toll on her finances, especially as she works on a commission-only basis. Additionally, her husband, who is self-employed, faced a challenging year financially, and for the past two months, his income has been nonexistent. Struggling to keep afloat, they had to borrow from friends, colleagues, and family just to afford transportation to and from the hospital.

Belinda underwent surgery last week Monday, and thankfully, everything went well despite the initial prognosis giving her only a 5% chance of survival, a success attributed to God's grace. However, their financial situation has taken a hit, accumulating debt during this challenging time. Recently, Belinda was readmitted to the hospital due to an infection in her wound, causing excruciating pain. Now, on top of concerns about her health, they worry about covering expenses like petrol, tolls, and daily living costs.
