Personal message

A couple of days ago I received scholarship to attend Passion 2024 in Atlanta Georgia from 3 to 5 January 2024 and what an honour this is!! Passion Conference is where 50 000 students from all around the World come together to praise and worship God, and learn more about Him and about living for what matters most. Which for us, is the name of Jesus. The scholarship covers the cost of the ticket for Passion 2024. Leaving me responsible to raise money for all the additional expenses in a short period of time. I need to raise money for a US Visa, a round-trip flight to Atlanta and back, and approximately R10000 spending money which covers food and travel expenses in the US. Thus, in total R35000 ($1915.47)

I come from a small town in Limpopo, South Africa and live with my aunt whom I call my mother. She has been retired and on pension before I was born but that never held me back. I have been walking with God since I was 11 years old and anyone who knows me know I always say that I was raised by God. He is my Father. And His blessing is over my life. I have this deep desire to learn more about our Father and to get equipt so I could one day go out into the nations and serve Him to the best of my abilities. I am hoping to do this through the medical field once I get my MBChB degree.

 

When I applied for the scholarship I prayed to God that if it is His will for me to go, He should open a door and I will go. This will be my first time attending Passion Conference. I know God is calling me to this. I am very expectant on what God has planned through Passion 2024. And even if the numbers are not in my favor, I firmly believe that nothing can stand in the way of God's will.
