Personal message

The past 5 years I have been lucky enough to be involved in an amazing non-profit movement, Bridges For Music. It's a community led project that unites people from all walks in life, gathering artists and music fans to uplift communities through music, art and education. Bridges supports artists from impoverished communities through a scholarship program and inspirational educational workshops and a part of this intiative we are building the first Bridges School in Langa township (South Africa) , which will teach transferable skills through music, art and entrepreneurship business.

Without a doubt a collective amount of love, sweat and tears has gone into this project to get this far. Our supporters stretch from UK, US, Netherlands, Spain and South Africa but we are still a little way off from the finishing it and every penny raised through this race will go towards completing this mission.

So this is me asking for your support. In return I'm putting on some not-so-sexy cycling gear and have commited myself to take part in the Cape Town Cycle race on the 11th March. Together with another 29  friends we will ride 109km around South Africa's largest timed route to raise the final $$$ to complete the school.
