Personal message

Good day everyone,

My name is Winnie Chidawanyika, originally from Zimbabwe and currently residing in Cape Town, South Africa. I work as a part-time domestic worker and I am 50 years old. Recently, my younger brother, Alfred Chidawanyika, was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer back home in Zimbabwe. He has undergone chemotherapy which has helped with the lymph nodes on his neck. However, he now requires medication costing $600 and a CT scan which also costs $600. As the one paying for his hospital bills, I am struggling to afford these expenses with my limited income. I am concerned that this financial burden may hinder his recovery process.

The reason I am reaching out for help here is that none of my siblings back in Zimbabwe are employed, and as the eldest, I am the main provider for my family. Additionally, my 83-year-old mother is epileptic and unable to assist with anything. My father passed away in 1996.

Any assistance or contributions towards Alfred's medical expenses would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your consideration and support.
