Hi I'm Adrienne and I play TagRugby for South Africa. I have recently been selected to represent my country in a test series based in the UK, which will unfortunately have to be self funded. This is a big financial ask of my teammates and I, sadly most of us cannot afford to do this on our own and thats where you come in! Any little bit will help and be greatly appreciated to get us on that plane and play our hearts out on the pitch for our nation.
The funds raised will be used for accommodation in the UK and plane tickets/travel insurance.
Once I am able to pay for my own ticket any other funds will be used to help my teammates who haven't been able to pay for their expenses. This is a team sport after all!
A little bit more about me(incase you were wondering): I started playing rugby to honor my grandfather who sadly lost his battle with cancer. I have played touch for Western Province and play contact for my amazing club, False Bay. I briefly played soccer for UCT where I am also studying Marine Biology and aiming to finish in 2025.
