Myself and a buddy are riding the Momentum 947 Cycle Challenge, on a tandem, for the Botshabelo Babies Home. Botshabelo runs an orphanage where they care for orphaned and abandoned babies until they are placed in a Forever Family. They have 14 children right now, many of which are under 1 year old and every cent we raise through our ride will go to caring for these children! Would be great if you could sponsor our ride and by doing so add value to these precious childrens lives!

Botshabelo was established in the year 2000 as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO), focusing on children’s foundation education and transforming teaching approach in South Africa through a partnership with low-income communities. The NPO is constituted by a committed and passionate group of diverse team members. Over the last 20 years, we have reached more than 85 500 beneficiaries across rural and peri-urban areas through our various programmes.
There are four catalytic programmes that Botshabelo focuses on:
- Babies home (Residential care for orphaned babies).
- UpliftED teacher training programmes (Early Childhood Development Training).
- Urban Kids Educare Centre ( Foundation education).
- Urban Closet (2nd Hand Shop)
