With the current wave of gender based violence, on top of the standard crime, corruption and general lack of accountability in South Africa, The Character Company remains one of the few organisations that are actively and intentionally investing in a better future by providing long-term MENtorship to young boys growing up with absent fathers or no positive male role models in their lives.  When it comes to gender based violence and corruption and crime and destroying communities … we are saying “Not Us!”

This is however not something that we can do alone and we need your help!  On Sunday the 10th of November 2019 we are one of 40 teams riding 100km to raise funds so more boys can be raised to be good men with strong values, positively impacting families, communities and society, via a long-term MENtorship program.

We're a team of twenty youngSTARS who want to make a difference in the world we live! Each champ will be riding 5km of the total 100km. Please help us raise R500 per hero. That's R100 per km/ per value.

The Character Company is a long term mentorship programme for young boys growing up with absent fathers - raising boys to be good men.  Other than the weekly and monthly programmes, holiday camps and “one-on-one” intervention we also focus on support for single mothers and raising awareness of the impact of absent fathers on our families and society.
