Hi, my name is Willem. I am a student studying to become a Chartered Accountant (CA) which has been my dream ever since I was 14 years old. I have always been passionate about business and the inner working of their financials in order to paint their picture and bring a business to life. I am currently struggling financially to be able to reach my dream. I will not let this hinder my ability to push to reach my goal and finally become what I've always dreamt of. It has been a difficult journey so far filled with many heartbreaks and major bumps along the road.I'm proud that I've overcome those obstacles and found the courage deep inside of me to tackle and defeat those challenges. Now I hope I can count on the kindness of strangers to help me achieve my goal as I have always struggled with asking for help. Though now I realise that community and helping others are important and even vital to our own personal growth and development as individuals and as a collective. They say it takes a village, and now I hope that it can be the case that the village might help me so that in the future I can be a pillar of that village and support other members.
