Joandri is an ordinary 8-year-old girl who loves playing sports like hockey, netball, and swimming. She is extremely dedicated to her academics, and we, as her parents, believe that studies should always be her top priority. However, Joandri has a unique talent and a deep passion for dancing. We want to share her story with you.

Joandri started her journey in dancing at the age of four in 2020. She participated in her first competition in January 2022 and performed her first solo in September 2022 at AA-arts. Her performance qualified her for the prestigious Rise to Fame competition held at Wildcoast Casino. 

                                    

 

In April 2023, Joandri won the gold medal and first place in her category at Rise to Fame. She also received a special award for the Best Modern Solo at the gala evening. She achieved 80% gold at Arnold Classics in May 2023. 

                    

Joandri's competitive spirit continued in June 2023 when she participated in Talent Africa and Next Level of Dance, earning 77% High Silver and 3rd place in her category. She achieved 88.5% at IFAA Trials and 88.66% at IFAA Semi-Finals in September 2023.

 

In recognition of her hard work and dedication, Joandri won a gold medal and a special award for performance at Just Dance. Her passion for dancing culminated in the IFAA Finals, where she achieved 93% and became the South African colour bearer.

Joandri's success in the field of dancing is a testament to her unwavering commitment and hard work. Her accomplishments serve as an inspiration to aspiring dancers worldwide.
