HIV/AIDS

Some children are orphans and child-headed due to HIV/AIDS. The School Based Support Team interact with such families.

Awareness Campaigns are planned at the school involving other stakeholders including Health promoters.

CHALLENGES

Photocopier is rented  which cause huge costs for the school;

Library and Computer  centre are not utilized optimally due to lack of resource;

Paving and lawn in the school yard;

No sports ground for soccer and netball. The school rent the neighbouring  sports  ground annually for their extra- curricular events;

No school hall ,as a result meetings and other  activities are compromised  due to weather condition( rainy and hot days )

School  building needs  to be repainted;

Classrooms needs shelves  and cupboards to keep learning materials for educators and learners safe;

Car port for staff and visitors  vehicles;

Establishment of a Food garden  and  its sustainability;

Constant blockage of sewerage pipes due roots underneath.
