Hometown Fundraiser Campaign
The Hometown Fundraiser is raising funds for local, Durban based rock band PosterBoy's nationwide tour and song release, as well as giving back to our hometown of Durban by donating 15% of the proceeds to the Bellhaven Harm Reduction Centre.The Bellhaven Harm Reduction Centre rehabilitates homeless people in Durban and have done great work for the city since they opened during the covid pandemic.
Breakdown of donations:
- 50% - Nationwide touring costs (petrol, accommodation)
- 27% - Recording our song 'Hometown (recording studio, mixing and mastering)
- 15% towards Bellhaven Harm Reduction Centre
- 8% commission fee for Back-a-Buddy
Total: R25 000
With your support, PosterBoy will be able to tour South Africa, record their debut single 'Hometown' and contribute to a non-profit organization that is helping the needy in Durban.
