Get Megan to Touch World Cup Campaign

Before we get into the reasons why I need your help, here’s a brief BIO about Megan.

Megan was born and raised in a small town called Cato Ridge in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa. From a young age she’s always been active, involved in sports and a true ambassador for her schools and country. She doesn’t half heart anything. From a young age her dream was always to go to the Olympics. She may not have gotten there but her athleticism got her to represent many teams for her country. After a few years trying a variety of sports she landed on Rugby. The sportsmanship, friendships and bravery it took to play in a male dominated sport took not only courage but a huge amount of sacrifice. Having represented her country for 5 years at the highest level in the world of sevens rugby, she has now landed on an opportunity to express herself in the sport of touch rugby.

An opportunity not lightly to be taken for granted. As playing for your country is always a privilege and an opportunity to bring a country together unified behind sport. At the age of almost 36 she still wishes to inspire the next generation to pursue their dreams and passions. 

This is for the next generation before stepping down into retirement. 

We all understand union rugby is well funded and it has afforded the opportunity to travel seamlessly to compete overseas. Different sporting codes don’t have that luxury and thus the plea to afford the player an opportunity to travel over seas and represent their country. 

Every cent goes a long way. And for every cent donated I pledge to continue to do Gods work by inspiring and uplifting other young girls to chase their dreams.
