Get Gen to Buffalo Regatta Campaign

Good day to you.

We are reaching out to anyone who is able to assist us in raising funds to get our daughter Genevieve Stewart down to Buffalo regatta for the racing on the 8th, 9th and 10th February 2023. 

She rows for VLC, and we unfortunately as per parents can not afford to send her there.

The monies will be used towards a flight ticket, accomodation and food while she is there. There will be VLC masters who she will be at the regatta with, we just can't afford to cover the rest.

We would be eternally grateful for any assistance in this regard.

Genevieve did really well this weekend at the RMB VLC Sprints. She rowed the WB 8, where they came 3rd, she has really been blessed with rowing with some amazing masters. She rowed a double with Anna Fisher, from Hong Kong who is visiting South Africa. Anna was also in the 8 race that they won in.

These races wouldn't have been possible without the amazing Katherine Harvey, she arranged all of these races, as Genevieve has rowed with her on many occasions with her, Katherine also arranged for Genevieve to cox a Four race at the World Rowing Masters Regatta, of which Anna was in the boat with her, they came 2nd in there race.

Genevieve has really been blessed with the masters giving her rowing advice and tulips, unfortunately the VLC Junior side is rather small, so Genevieve does not get the chance to race in doubles or quads, Genevieve is also the only Junior female who does sweep rowing so her racing options are limited.
