Mum in need of financial asistance Campaign

Hi, I'm Makhosazana Mavundla - a first time mum in need of financial help.

2023 was a rather tough year for me in all aspects. At the beginning of the year, I fell pregnant, however, miscarried just shy away from the 9th week mark.

Whilst reeling from that shock, my partner lost his job. For almost half a year, I had to sustain what used to be a two income household with my salary - it was hard. We lived from hand to mouth, starting rationing food and were forced to live on short-term monthly loans.

Every month, approximately 50 - 70% of my salary would go towards paying of the monthly loans before any other debt orders (wifi, credit cards, phone bills), essentials (groceries) and living expenses (rent, transport) were paid.

On top of all this, I'm the sole provider for my 16 years-old sister. Despite not staying together, every month I have to cover her phone bill, toiletries, school supplies, uniform, school money and any other expenses that may pop up during the month.

In the midst of all this weight, God entrusted us once again with a blessing - we're currently expecting our Rainbow baby and are nearing the end of the journey.

Fortunately, our Rainbow baby came bearing blessings and my partner ended up securing a job 2 months. However, with him still being on probation (which means his salary is not enough - just yet), me still paying off the monthly loans and us not receiving our December bonuses, getting all the baby's essentials has been hard.

We have managed to get a good portion of baby's essentials (for the hospital) bag, however, we still need to stock up on more.

I humbly ask for donations. No donation is "small".

Thank you for your time!
