An Appeal for Help - Get Connor to the USA!

I have been pondering over this message as I know that we are all feeling the financial crunch and asking for help feels uncomfortable, but I then realized that if we don’t ask then my special son might miss out on an incredible, well-deserved opportunity, so here goes. 

Let me briefly introduce you to Connor Walker, for those friends and family that have not met him yet, he is 17 years old and has developed and excelled in his dancing so much over the last few years , it's a blessing to witness.

When he was 16 he had a serious battle with depression and through sheer will, determination and his love of dance he has overcome this hurdle and is literally reaching for the stars. As a family we are all so extremely proud of him and it is not just because of his dance awards and accolades but because he has shown such inspirational spirit and passion and is such a great testament to being courageous and brave in the face of adversity. He has such a generous and kind heart and wants to become a dance teacher and help kids who are going through what he went through.

After the Talent Africa competition he received his Gauteng colours and with amazing results and he has the opportunity to travel abroad to the USA in 2024 to compete and this is where my appeal for help comes in.

As with so many families in the current financial situation, we are not financially in a position to fully fund this trip and would really appreciate some support with making his dream come true. Every little bit will help us achieve this goal and I so appreciate anyone seeing this plea.

We will also have some fundraising functions early in 2024, details will be provided once finalized.
