Please Help Clari Fight Cancer Campaign

Clarissa Boersema, cherished sister, friend, aunt, wife to Marco, and mother to Mila, has recently received a diagnosis of breast cancer. She is a most wonderful person who only ever wants the best for the best for others, and is most deserving of joy and health.

Regrettably, due to recent financial constraints, she has had to discontinue her medical aid coverage, as the available funds were insufficient to sustain it. Previously, the family endured substantial medical expenses stemming from a severe car accident, which exacerbated their financial burden as it left her unable to work for months on end. 

Despite diligent efforts, Clarissa and Marco have struggled to maintain financial stability, a challenge further compounded by Marco's own battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis and accompanying medical costs. 

Urgent surgical and oncological interventions are imperative to prevent the cancer from metastasizing into Clarissa's lymphatic and venous systems, as well as adjacent tissues and organs. If the cancer spreads, her prognosis will become more serious and her treatment will become more rigorous and she will not be able to retain the quality of life she still has now.

Accessing care through government hospitals entails prolonged wait times, underscoring the pressing need for IMMEDIATE treatment. 

Our objective is to facilitate swifter access to critical care by funding immediate surgery at a private health facility, but if that is not possible, we can still help by funding essential bloodwork, imaging, and diagnostic tests through private channels, thereby circumventing delays inherent in the public healthcare system. That's why we're rallying to raise funds for private tests and treatment. Time's ticking – every day counts, and we can't let this cancer win. No donation is too small; together, we can give Clarissa a fighting chance at a long and happy life.
