Manie Paralympics 2024 Campaign

Manie Blom, who is a world champion in visually impaired discus throw, needs some help to reach the 2024 Paralympic Games.

One big challenge he faces is getting re-evaluated for his disability category every two years. This is important for his chance to compete in the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

The only opportunity for this evaluation is at the African Para-Athletics Grand Prix in Marrakesh, Morocco, at the end of April. But he has to pay for it all himself, including flights, hotel, food, visa, and transportation, which adds up to about R50,000.

Manie's lifelong dream is to make it onto the South African Paralympic Team and represent his country at the Paralympics. With your support, he can make that dream come true.
