Hanna PhD completion Campaign
My name is Hanna Williamson. I am married and my husband and I have been blessed with 4 children. I obtained my MSc in Dietetics (Cum Laude) in 2019. I work as a Clinical Dietitian in the Neonatal High Care Unit at Pelonomi Tertiary Hospital. It is a 37 bed unit, but we mostly have around 50 babies admitted.Most of the babies in the unit were born prematurely and require special feeding intervention and nutritional care (such as parenteral and enteral nutrition). Working with these babies and their mommies bring me absolute joy.
I am doing my PhD through the University of the Free State in which I am developing a nutrition protocol for the Neonatal High Care Unit, that will improve the mortality and clinical outcomes of the premature babies.
I have not received funding for the academic year and would appreciate any assistance in paying tuition fees.
