At D2B dance studios, we passionately believe in the power of dance as a form of artistic expression and its ability to generate disciplined, well rounded and confidence individuals.   We have been working hard to ensure our dancers are of high caliber and international standard.  Representing team SA is a dream of every athlete, and it’s no different for our dancers at D2B, who have qualified to represent team SA at the Dance Star World Champions in Croatia, in from 19 – 26 May 2024. 

For our dancers who have qualified, there is nothing more exciting and honorable, than to represent their country at an event such as this. An opportunity that comes once in a lifetime!  Our dancers competed at the qualifiers, in both group and solo events in various styles including Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Ballet, and Acrobatics. All of our groups qualified in either the A league or B league and 5 groups even ranked first in their divisions during qualifying rounds.

However, not all of our dancers are in a position to carry the cost of the trip, as most of them are students, still at school level.  Unfortunately, we do not receive funding from government, for representing team SA, and we are relaying on the support and generosity of communities and businesses around us for donations and sponsorships.  We would like to give these dancers the opportunity not only to make their dreams come true, but enable them to participate on an international stage, competing against the worlds best. 

We have 27 dancers who have qualified to represent teams SA, at least 10 of these dancers require sponsorships and donations to enable them to go to Croatia.

Any amount of sponsorship/ funding would be most welcome. A sponsorship letter from the organizers is attached to this document, for further information.
