KNEED A KNEE REPLACEMENT Campaign

I was diagnosed with Colon cancer in 2023.  I required 14 weeks of chemo during 2023. After i was cleared of all the cancer at the end of 2023. During early 2024 I started to have what the doctor thought was chemo side effects which affected my joints. This turned out to be severe osteo arthritis. My damage to my knee is the worst of it as I require a knee replacement operation. 

I am self-employed and have had my knee operation postponed at the state hospital 3 times already. I am permanently on crutches and having a physical job has impacted on this immensely. 

I have made an appointment to see Doctor Hein Stander on the 16th April 2024 for a consultation and hopefully a date for my operation, depending on my funds.
