Rochell Dancestar 2024 66807 Campaign
I am Christell Alberts and I am starting this fundraiser for my daughter Rochell, she is 13 years old and she has been dancing since she was only 5. She had open heart surgery when she was only 8 months old, but that has not stopped her from following her dance dream.Rochell Alberts took part in the DanceStar: South Africa Qualifiers which is the qualification round in South Africa for the DanceStar: World Dance Masters in Croatia. This prestigious event took place in Cape Town from the 8th to the 12th of November and in Pretoria from the 13th to the 18th of November 2023. Judges from Europe and South Africa judged and scored routines from the best amateur dancers in South Africa.
Rochell Alberts was one of a select few dancers who qualified in their routines at the
DanceStar: South Africa Qualifiers and thereby chosen to represent South Africa at the DanceStar: World Dance Masters in Croatia during May 2024, where more than 7,000 competitors from 54 countries will participate.
The South Africa team will be special guests at the opening ceremony of the DanceStar:
World Dance Masters.
This is really an amazing opportunity and will be a life changing event which could greatly
influence the future dancing career of Rochell.
