Help me support a Cambodian school Campaign

My name is Wilri Dissel and I'm from South Africa. In December I had the chance to volunteer at this school in Cambodia. I am creating this fundraiser in hopes that I can receive help from the public to support this school in buying things that they need. The school and its students deserve the best in life and I wish that this fundraiser can help them.

This school focuses on giving their students the tools and resources they need to succeed in today's world. They focus on supplementary and non-traditional education in English and Khmer to help them reach their goals.

Many Cambodian children drop out of school because of poor grades and performance. This is often because their families are living in poor conditions and have very low or no level of education. There are also many street children (those who collect rubbish on the street).

To combat these problems, the school designed a special Street Children Rehabilitation Project (SCRP) where the goal is to give these children the tools they need to grow up and lead prosperous lives. This program invites children to the school, who come from families living in poverty.

So far, the school sustains their work through only local English student volunteers and international volunteers.

This is a local non-profit, non-political, and non-governmental organization. It was established in late 2011 by a group of educated Cambodians who wanted to give back.

By contributing to this fundraiser, you will help the school to buy school supplies, teaching and learning materials, and many more that will contribute to the success of the school and its students.
