Help Tsebo Complete Law School Campaign

Hi everyone, my name is Tsebo Wanyane and I am a 21-year old BA Law graduand at the University of the Witwatersrand who is in need of your assistance with my fees.

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a lawyer and advocate for the rights of people. Most of my inspiration came from my father, who was an advocate himself and had his own law practice called the Lebethe Attorneys that is situated at Alberton, Gauteng. Sadly, my father passed away in 2017 and will unfortunately not get to see his daughter carry on his legacy.

My father and mother were not married so I was raised by mother with assistance from my father who contributed to towards my upbringing and studies even when he was not alive, by means of a trust fund. This trust fund was allocated to assist both myself and my sibling with our schooling endeavours. The money that was left for us got exhausted over the years because it was used for our livelihood as a family and my sibling and I’s school career.

I have always strived to work hard to get to where I am at today despite the challenges that were thrown at me at a young age. I did not let my circumstances define me. Based on my results in the first year of my degree, I received an invitation from the Golden Key International Honours Society as recognition for being part of the Top 15% students in my faculty, and was inaugurated in the year 2022. I became part of the world-renowned Wits Choir as part of my interests include singing. I also took it upon myself to acquire skills that would add to my growth in terms of my career and became a private tutor  in 2023 as well as a Student Life Intern and a floor representative at my previous residence. I took on the last two roles not only to acquire a plethora of valuable skills, but to assist with money at home as the responsibility of being the breadwinner was placed on me, which I took on with pride as difficult as it was.

I feel blessed and fortunate that I got to finish my first degree of my law journey on record time and I am excited to see what the future holds for me.

I work hard for what I want and where I want to be. I take pride in my work and I am positive that this is the path that God wants me to take on. I have applied for many bursaries and I have voiced out my need for funding and wanting to continue with my 2-year LLB degree, however I have not yet received responses from the said bursaries. Which is where you come in. I would like to register for the academic year of 2024 before the closing of registrations on the 9th of February, as I have received an offer from Wits University to complete the 2-year LLB programme. Please assist in helping me achieve my dream in completing my degree by contributing towards my tuition fees. Your support and any kind of amount would be greatly appreciated.
