Help Stephen Beat Cancer in 2024 Campaign

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate souls,

Hope finds a way even in the darkest moments, and today we remind you of the inspiring story of my Husband, Stephen Bezuidenhout, a Warrior in the battle against Colo-Rectal Cancer since 2020. Stephen's journey has been one of unwavering courage, resilience and the strength to face adversity head-on.

In the face of this formidable foe, Stephen has shown remarkable determination and tenacity. He has not only managed to return to work, but has done so while undergoing life-saving chemotherapy treatments. His recovery has been nothing short of remarkable, but the path to victory is not without its challenges.

Despite the progress made, the financial burden of the chemotherapy co-payments remains an insurmountable obstacle for Stephen and our family. Each treatment requires us to travel 600km and the treatment continues to be every two weeks. This incurs substantial costs that have become increasingly difficult to bear. Stephen has reached his Oncology limit again for 2024, early in November 2023 already, as the Oncology claims still average R80 000 per month.
