Helping Jemi Campaign

Hello,

I'm Lucrecia, a 47-year-old single mom and caregiver to my 21-year-old daughter, Jemimah. Jemi was born with HIV and diagnosed with chronic renal failure at age 9. After a groundbreaking kidney transplant in 2016, complications arose, leading to the rejection of the kidney. Jemi now faces various health issues, including being wheelchair-bound and in need of continuous care.

We're struggling financially due to frequent hospital visits, and despite government assistance, it's not enough. I've sold our belongings to cover costs, but it's not sustainable. With no family support, I've suffered stress-induced strokes.

Our current living situation on the third floor is challenging, especially with Jemi in a wheelchair. We need funds for Jemi's treatment, education, an electric wheelchair, a suitable living environment, transportation, and specific groceries for her diet.

Jemi is determined to finish school and pursue a psychology degree. Your donation would greatly help us overcome these challenges. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Lucrecia and Jemimah
