My name is Sonwabise Faith Sinyenyeka, and I am writing to you with a sincere and heartfelt plea for assistance. I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Economics program at the University of the Western Cape (UWC). Unfortunately, I find myself facing financial challenges that jeopardize my ability to continue and complete my degree. As of now, I owe the institution an outstanding amount of R69849.75. This financial burden has become a significant obstacle, and I am reaching out to individuals and organizations that share a passion for education and believe in the transformative power it holds. Allow me to share my story with you. I come from a modest background where resources have always been scarce. Despite the financial challenges my family has faced, I was determined to pursue a higher education to break the cycle of limited opportunities. UWC became my beacon of hope, and I was fortunate enough to be accepted into the Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Economics program. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to my studies, striving to excel in the academic realm. However, the mounting student debt has become a barrier to realizing my dreams. The looming prospect of being unable to complete my degree is disheartening, considering the sacrifices my family and I have made to get this far. Finishing my Bachelor of commerce Honours in Economics at UWC is not only a personal goal but a commitment to my family and community. Education has the power to uplift individuals and communities, and I firmly believe that by completing my degree, I can contribute to the betterment of society.
